What is Mystery Hollow?
Mystery Hollow is a dark fantasy adventure 2D indie animation project that is currently producing the Pilot/Episode 1, with more episodes being planned!
"When a young teen named Grace Rebus moves to the secluded and mysterious town of Morton Hollow hidden deep within the Kentucky woods, she befriends a town resident, Zack Pitt, and together they set out to discover the town's winding, supernatural roots under the guidance of their history teacher Neil Watson."

Currently, 60% of the pilot is boarded! Our goal is to finish all the pilot's storyboards by the end of the year!We are also planning some announcements for August 16th so stay tuned!

Personality
Grace is a bubbly, charmingly childish character with a kind-hearted, whimsical, and go-getter nature. She’s a passionate diehard for anything supernatural, from aliens to ghosts and ghouls, she’s into it all!
However, she can be overly sensitive, allowing her emotions to guide her over her better judgment. For example, she sets aside weapons to sympathize with a dangerous spirit. Despite her kind nature, she sometimes loses control and lashes out in anger at others.
Backstory
Before Grace's family moved to Morton Hollow, their classmates bullied and ostracized both her and her sister Frankie because of their hobbies and interests. Frankie had a particular rivalry with one of the school's cheerleaders. When Grace started middle school, she formed a supernatural club, but people only joined to prank and make fun of her. Since then, she has kept her hobbies to herself and avoided letting anyone in, out of fear that they would make fun of her and hurt her. As a result, she finds it difficult to make friends and may come across as snarky and defensive at first, just like her sister. This is her way of protecting herself from being vulnerable. Ultimately, due to bullying and the people in their hometown blaming Grace's sister for the murder of the cheerleader, her family had to move.

- Grace is very adamant about not swearing and will go out of her way to avoid it, even when she’s hurt.
- Besides the supernatural, she also loves to draw and watch romantic anime.
- Her favorite color is purple
- She prefers loose clothing, tight clothing makes her extremely uncomfortable and self conscious.
Personality
Zack is intelligent but still has his dumb and awkward moments. He's caring and generally means well but tends to deliver it poorly, or not show it very well.
He might unintentionally make someone feel worse by trying to reassure them, like telling a mother whose child is missing that kids often wander in the woods may get caught in traps or likely attacked by animals.
He tries to be the voice of reason and play by the rules. He can be snarky but battles with insecurity and anxiety. He holds onto grudges longer than necessary because he tries to think before acting on his emotions, although it doesn't always pan out.
Backstory
Zack was born and raised in Morton Hollow, the town being all he has ever known. From the age of ten, Zack delved into investigating missing persons and murder cases, but his detective work has taken a back seat since he started his freshman year in high school. Currently, Zack lives with his mother, Rebecca Pitt, who works full-time at the local hospital.

- He loves conspiracy documentaries, video games, and more dark animes, such as Death Note.
- He is scared to death of needles.
- He doesn’t really believe in ghosts, but believes in the supernatural.
Personality
He is a brave, resourceful, and skilled person, but he sometimes entrusts too much responsibility to mere teens. Despite Watson's calm and laid-back character, he is a man of many secrets, shrouding himself in mystery. He bears a lot more stress than he reveals but has a passion for teaching his students, and it shows when he's in the classroom.
Backstory
Watson, much like Zack, has spent his entire life in Morton Hollow, but beyond his work, very little is known about him. However, students have sparked their own tales and speculation about what he does after school hours.

- Even though He won’t admit it, he may have an addiction to coffee.
-His favorite music is Smooth Jazz, it helps him calm and focus.
- Despite being a teacher, outside the classroom, He’s not much of a people person. Ironic, huh?
